I am Born in Boston MA, raised in Maryland and South Carolina. My mother is a nutritionist at NHI and my father was Military. So as you can imagine, from the beginning my life has always consisted of good food and lots of exercise. That said, I’ve been playing competitive sports since before I can remember, from soccer, basketball, tennis, rugby, golf, swimming, mountain biking, skateboarding, surfing, Jujitsu, weightlifting, and the list continues to go on.
Some of my more notable accomplishments to date have been; All-State 4A Maryland High School Soccer Player, Goff Rugby Report Top 50 DII College Rugby Players in the U.S., D1 Men’s Rugby Conference Championship MVP, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and Professional Surf Instructor. Throughout this time, (over 10 years) I have been regularly weight training in the gym, making me very familiar with all the equipment and how to apply it to get the best results. When COVID hit in March 2020, my girlfriend, (who is also a personal trainer), and I were living in Rockaway Beach, NYC and began teaching surf lessons and personal training since the beach was the only place still open to the public. During this time , we also converted a 1995 GMC van into a fully functioning house (#VanLife). In October 2020 we left NYC and traveled around the country for over a year, living in San Diego for 4 months in 2021 before finally settling in Florida in 2022. While living on the move and with much of the U.S still on gym restrictions, we found creative ways to stay in shape without a lot of equipment. So if you are someone who is not interested in exercising in a gym ( or can't ), don’t worry, I have plenty for you to do as well ;)
While living on the road we did online training, surf lessons and sold coffee from the van.
Once we settled in Florida, we wanting to get more in-person training experience, so we decided to partner up with various fitness centers in New Smyrna Beach, FL, as well as offer in-home trainings. It's been a great learning experience and has allowed us to grow rapidly in our training knowledge and techniques for all types of people and their unique conditions. I also do surf lessons weekly and offer surfing, field sport and jujitsu specific training for those practitioners who are looking for more sport specific training.
I love what I do and I appreciate everyone that shares these beautiful experiences with me to live a healthier and more fulfilling life.
